Monaghan's very own Silver Hill Duck has taken home multiple awards at the 2025 Irish Quality Food & Drink Awards.
The awards included two Silver awards for its Slow Roasted Duck Fillets and a Bronze award for its Whole Duck.
The wins have been described as a "fantastic achievement" for a supplier like Silver Hill Duck with strong roots in the Northern Sound region.
A number of ALDI's award-winning products were produced by Silver Hill Duck highlighting ALDI's strong commitment to supporting local producers and delivering quality Irish food and drink to customers nationwide.
Now in its 12th year, the Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards celebrate the very best in Irish food and drink. Each product undergoes a rigorous judging process, carried out by an independent panel of industry experts. Products are evaluated on taste, provenance, value for money, and innovation - with only the very best achieving the prestigious gold award.
Speaking about this year's wins, John Curtin, Group Buying Director at ALDI Ireland, said: "At Aldi we are delighted to take home 87 awards as well as Retailer of the Year and Drinks Retailer of the Year. We are proud to showcase and support Irish produce. To have so many of our products recognised again at this year's Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards is a fantastic achievement. These awards are a real testament to the passion, hard work, and innovation of our Irish supplier partners. Together, we're bringing the very best of Irish food and drink to ALDI shoppers across the country - at the best possible prices."
