A number of detections were made by members of the Monaghan Roads Policing Unit recently in the Carrickmacross area.
Three vehicles were seized and three learner drivers were caught driving unaccompanied which resulted in fixed charged penalty notices.
According to Gardai, an e-scooter was also seized in the Carrickmacross area.
Gardai are appealing for e-scooter users to "know the rules" when it comes to road safety.
Those on e-scooters are prohibited from driving on footpaths, pedestrian zones or motorways.
Riders must also be over 16 and drive at a maximum speed of 20km/h.
