It's been confirmed that a new playground in Luí na Gréine, Scotstown will be delivered by the end of the year.
A second playground for Scotstown village, funded through a Peace Plus allocation, is now moving into the design phase, with community consultation to take place soon in collaboration with the Scotstown Town Team.
Cllr Niamh McCooey welcomed the news.

The local representative says while Scotstown serves a large and growing catchment area, it is "underserved" in terms of children's amenities.
