Shannonside Northern Sound has been shortlisted for three IMRO Radio Awards this year.

Northern Sound’s Sean McCaffrey has been nominated in the Local/Regional Sports Broadcaster of the Year category for a second year in a row.

The shortlist for the 2020 competition was announced today, with ‘Farmers at the Gate’ receiving a nomination for News Story or News Event of the Year, and the News at 1 nominated under the Local/Regional News programme category.

Due to restrictions, this year’s awards ceremony will take place virtually on the 2^nd of October.
