There has been an over 50% increase in employment among arrivals from Ukraine living in the Northern Sound region.
The data was revealed in a recent report compiled by the Central Statistics Office.
The CSO provided a break-down of employment data for arrivals from Ukraine living in the region.
As of the 3rd of June of this year, there were 2,759 beneficiaries of temporary protection from Ukraine living across counties Cavan and Monaghan.
Of these, 1,311 were employed in Co. Cavan, and 991 in Co. Monaghan, as of the 16th of June.
In total, there are just over 2,300 active employments among Ukrainian arrivals in the Northern Sound region.
This comes at a 57% increase on the same time last year, when there were 1,460 active employments.
Nationally, 80,000 Ukrainian arrivals are currently living in Ireland, with 26,474 arrivals having earnings from their employment.
