Cavan County Fire Service are currently recruiting for retained fire officers in Kingscourt and Killeshandra.
An open day is being held in Kingscourt tomorrow, were you can meet the crew and find out if joining the local fire service would be a career for you.
If you are over 18 and want to learn some exciting new skills, Cavan Fire Service is asking you to come along on the day. The open event is being held between 2pm and 5pm tomorrow afternoon. Chief Fire Officer Noel O Reilly says this a chance for people in these communities to give something back in a lifesaving capacity.
