Outline planning permission has been granted for 3 new dwellings in Ardaghy, Monaghan.
The proposed site is traversed by a stream, and the works would include the realignment of a section of this watercourse to accommodate an access road.
The plans also involved the development of a new common entrance from the Monaghan/Ballybay public roadway.

Also included is provision of a common green space, and pedestrian access from green space to the public roadway adjacent to Ardaghy Chapel.
At the consequent stage of planning, the applicant will be required to ensure that the dwellings "harmonise with surroundings, particularly concerning scale and proportions".
