Over 1,000 surveys completed over Clones memorial garden

Three sites were shortlisted to be considered in greater detail for the memorial garden.

A total of 1,121 surveys have been completed in relation to the site assessment for the Gone but Not Forgotten Memorial Garden in Clones.

Monaghan County Council engaged with the Paul Hogarth company to complete a site selection report in March of this year.

The consultant team identified 20 potential sites for a memorial and garden.

These sites are located within the town of Clones.

Following the assessment of all twenty sites, three sites were shortlisted to be considered in greater detail.

The sites selected were the Barry McGuigan Park, Seamus McCabe Community Park and the Roslea Road carpark at junction with Church Hill.
