Over 350 ESB customers without power locally

There is  358 ESB customers still without power across the Northern Sound region.

The whole country is under a status yellow wind warning for the rest of the day as Storm Chandra bears down.

Met Eireann has issued the alert for all counties which will remain in place until 11pm tonight.

According to the ESB's powercheck website, the largest outage is in Bailieboro where 120 customers are affected.

53 customers are without power in Cootehill.

11 customers are without power in the Cavan Town area.

Elsewhere in Co Monaghan, 110 ESB customers in Clones are without power, while 64 remain without power in Carrickmacross.
