Over 370,000 people visited libraries across Co. Monaghan in 2025.
That's according to figures released by Monaghan County Council this week.
Each library branch continue to be heavily used, and the council has indicated a desire to increase numbers in 2026.

The most visited library was in Monaghan Town, with 144,969 visitors, followed by Carrickmacross with 121,541 visitors.
Castleblayney library had 63,587 visitors, Clones had 34,111, and Ballybay library had 6,989 visitors
