Sports partnerships in Cavan are to receive funding of over €375,000.
Calling the announcement as "very positive news" for Cavan, Senator Joe O'Reilly said "fostering a healthy generation of citizens is a priority for the Government." His party colleague, Fine Gael Minister of Sport Patrick O'Donovan, committed €31.3m to the sport sector.
"€375,864 of this will benefit Cavan," Senator O'Reilly said before adding that he would continue to work with Minister O'Donovan to deliver for Cavan.
