A peaceful demonstration has taken place in Monaghan Town today to show solidarity with the people of Palestine.
The peaceful gathering started at around 1pm today.
This demonstration was part of the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign which was first established back in 2011 with branches right across the country.
Local man Paddy Grenham is part of the solidarity branch in Monaghan.
He says the government is "dragging its feet" on the occupied territories bill.
He also highlighted his concerns over the decision by Fine Gael and Fianna Fail to vote against Sinn Fein's motion to stop the Irish Central Bank facilitating the sale of Israeli war bonds.
