Permission has been granted for an extension to a north Monaghan primary school.
Last year, €1.1 million in funding was announced, and the tenders published for works at Scoil Naomh Padraig in Corracrin.
The single storey extension will consist of a central activity space, a multi-sensory room, a sensory garden and new play equipment.

The external play areas will be relocated and there'll be landscaping and associated works.
Monaghan County Council approved plans subject to conditions.
