Planning permission is being sought for the construction of apartment units in Co Monaghan.
The project has been proposed by JES Holdings Ltd at a building site on Parnell Street in Carrickmacross.
It would consist of the demolition of existing structure ruins and boundary wall and gate at Parnell Street to facilitate the development of three apartment buildings.
Each building comprises of three 1-bed units at the ground floor, and three 2-bed units at first and second floor level.
Included in the application is the development of connections to existing public services, revised boundaries, and all associated site works.
Monaghan county planners have received the application and are due to make a decision by the month of July.
