Planning has been lodged for a new gaelscoil in Castleblayney.
The project received approval from the Department of Education, with CMETB now progressing with planning permission.
The eight-classroom primary school will be developed alongside a general purpose hall, a ball court and a junior play area.

24 solar panels will also be installed on the building.
Approval for the site on the Shercock Road in the town is expected next month.
