Planning lodged for new mast in Killeshandra

Planning permission is being sought for a new communications mast in Killeshandra.

ESB Telecoms Limited are seeking permission to replace an existing 20m high wooden structure with a 24 metre high lattice structure at the ESB Substation on Church Street

This would contain communication dishes, antennae and all ancillary equipment.

The proposed development would be contained inside an existing 2.4m high fenced compound,.

Cavan County Planners will decide on the issue in late October
