Monaghan County Council has launched the Part 8 planning process to transform the old Scoil Mhuire primary site into 24 new homes.
Acquired in 2024, this historic site posed design challenges due to its steep gradient-but the Housing Section, working with Craftstudio, has delivered a thoughtful plan.
The proposed development includes a mix of two-storey terraced homes and accessible own-door apartments, designed to blend beautifully with the Roslea Road streetscape.

Pending planning approval, construction is expected to begin in early 2026 under a Design & Build contract.
