Plans have been lodged for a major extension to a Monaghan based GAA club.
Emyvale GAA have applied to Monaghan County Council to construct new club rooms consisting of a sports hall, changing rooms, gym, meeting rooms, and catering facilities at their site at Oliver Plunkett Park.
Two new training pitches, new dug outs, flood lights, ball stops, and running track along with a walking track are all included in the application.
Biodiversity areas along with low level lighting, an extension of the car park to include EV charging points, and a new playground are also part of the plans.
A decision on the new development is due at the start of June.
