A Co Cavan based construction firm is seeking palnning permisson for more than 20 new homes in Cavan Town.
The plans that have been earmarked are for a site spanning over two acres close to Cavan Rugby Club at Swellan Upper.
The plans submitted by Latt Properties are for 14 three bedroom houses alongside a two storey apartment complex consisting of one bedroom homes.
The development also provides for two bungalows consisting of two bedrooms. The site is bounded by the first phase of the town’s Oak Tree Park development which is currently under construction.
In a design statement, architects for Latt Properties alluded to how its location was a “strategic development site within an existing residential area” and due to its positioning within Cavan’s town A final decision on the plans is expected to be made by mid-August.
