Plans to revive historic walk between Clones and Clogher

There are plans to revive an historic walk that links Clones and Clogher.

Discovered on maps from 1693 the pilgrims way links the two areas via Sliabh Beagh.

Anne Corley, who's the Local History and Geneology Officer at the Cassandra Hand Folk and Famine Centre is hoping to get the trail back into public use.

She says they want to get the process of developing "St Tiernach's Way" going in the next year.
