The ESB said that is assessing the damage to the electricity network caused by Storm Amy
It is reported that, in Co. Monaghan, over 1,100 customers have lost power in Emyvale, while 783 in the Drumbear area of Monaghan Town.
Elsewhere in the county, almost 1,400 ESB customers are without power in Clones, while it is reported that 1,885 customers are without power in Carrickmacross.
There are also power outages throughout Co. Cavan. ESB is reporting significant outages in Cavan town, while almost 600 customers are impacted in Kilnaleck.
In Ballyjamesduff, ESB Networks is reporting that 1818 customers are without power.
The ESB is also reporting outages throughout the Shannonside region.
In Co. Leitrim, there are significant outages in Mohill, and in Leitrim Village.
Outages have also been reported in Rooskey, and in Longford town.
