The principal of the new Monaghan Community Special School in Castleblayney has been appointed.
Ms Belinda Walters, who hails from Co.Donegal brings extensive experience in special education and a deep commitment to inclusive learning.
Ms. Walters holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Queen's University Belfast.
She further advanced her expertise with a Master of Education in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs from the University of Birmingham, specialising in Autism and Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
Speaking on her appointment, Ms. Walters said she's passionate about special education and committed to the principles of inclusion for all learners.
She said she's looking forward to working with the school community to provide appropriate teaching and learning opportunities, ensuring that every student finds a sense of belonging within their own community.
