A public consultation event on the future plans for Lough Muckno is taking place later today.
Monaghan County Council is to present the Emerging Concepts for Lough Muckno, prepared by Cunnane Stratton Reynolds and their multi-disciplinary team.
Local representatives and the local authority are calling on everyone with an interest in the future of Lough Muckno to have their say.

The drop in event is being held this afternoon between 3pm and 8pm at the Gate lodge, Castleblayney.
The feedback received will shape the future of this important local amenity.
