Monaghan County Council is proposing the introduction of CCTV schemes across the county to help deter, prevent, detect and prosecute illegal dumping.
As part of this process, they are inviting the public to have their say on the proposed installation of CCTV cameras in a number of locations.
The cameras will be used solely to prevent littering and illegal dumping, in line with relevant legislation and CCTV codes of practice.
The local authority says your feedback will help shape how these schemes are implemented and ensure community concerns are addressed.
The Deadline for submissions online at the Monaghan County Council website is 4pm, Friday the 26th of June.
