A designated centre for adults with disabilities in Cavan has been found to be compliant across 14 categories of the Health Act 2007.
Ardmore Lodge received an unannounced HIQA inspection on the 1st December 2025.
Ardmore Lodge is a detached bungalow on the outskirts of Cavan Town.
The centre provides 24 hour nursing care to four adults who require supports with mobility, social and health care needs.
Overall inspectors found that the residents were in receipt of good care and support.
The house has been adapted for wheelchair users and consists of four bedrooms, all of which have large adapted en-suite bathrooms.
Inspectors observed that all staff were seen to be knowledgeable in their roles and residents appeared to be content in their presences.
The centre was found to be compliant across 14 regulations and substantially compliant in one.
Fire precautions was the only regulation found to be substantially compliant.
