A man in his 20s is being questioned following the seizure of 430,000 cigarettes in Cavan.
The seizure was made following an intelligence-led operation by Revenue Commissioners which was assisted by Gardaí.
The illicit cigarettes, branded 'Sobranie', have a retail value of over €341,000, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €267,000.

The man in his 20s has been questioned and investigations are ongoing. This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the shadow economy and the supply of illegal tobacco products.
