Schools in both Cavan and Monaghan have received approval for extensions this week.
In Monaghan a new mainstream classroom including an ensuite bathroom has been confirmed for Annyalla NS.
In Cavan two new mainstream classroom's also including ensuite bathroom facilities for St Felim's NS on Farnham Street in County Cavan have also been announced.

These extensions were confirmed by Minister for Education Norma Foley under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme and have been widely welcomed by local representatives.
