The figures for local authority funding allocations under the Second Hand Acquisitions Programme have been revealed for the Northern Sound region.
The information was given in response to a parliamentary question put forward by Deputy Conor D. McGuinness.
Deputy McGuinness asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he could provide figures on the funding being allocated under the tenant-in-situ and housing acquisitions schemes per local authority.
In response, Minister James Browne said that in Cavan €1.5 million funding is available in 2026 for local authority priority projects, including €400,000 for AHB Priority Delivery Allocation 2026 and €1.1 million for LA Priority Delivery Allocation.
Monaghan's allocation is also €1.5 million, with €600,000 for AHB Priority Delivery Allocation 2026 and €900,000 for LA Priority Delivery Allocation.
