A number of drug seizures have been made in west Cavan following a "targeted approach" by gardaí.
Gardaí say they are targeting a number of addresses in the Belturbet and Ballyconnell area that are suspected to be involved in the sale and supply of drugs.
This includes stopping and searching vehicles and persons leaving these premises.

Several people were found with small amounts of cocaine as a result, with two seizures on the 1st of October, and another seizure was made on the 9th of October.
Cavan gardaí say the work will "counteract" drug dealing in the west Cavan area.
