The R192 in Co Cavan has been closed following a two vehicle collision.
Emergency services are at the scene which is located near Lough Tacker about 6kms from Shercock.

It’s understood that the collision occurred sometime after 9am this morning.
The road between Shercock and Cootehill is now closed and is expected to be closed for a number of hours.

Local diversions are currently being put in place.
Gardai have issued the following statement:
Gardaí are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision on the R192 Shercock to Cootehill road in Co. Cavan.
The road is currently closed with local diversions in place.
