Sinn Féin has no information on the murder of Paul Quinn.
That's according to Northern Ireland's first minister Michelle O'Neill. She was asked about comments that Paul's mother, Breege Quinn made this week surrounding her belief that Sinn Féin has information to assist with the ongoing investigation.
The young man was murdered in the Tullyvanus area on Saturday, October 20th, 2007, after being lured to a shed by a number of men.
On the anniversary of his murder this week, local Gardai say the investigation into Paul’s killing is ongoing. Gardai say they firmly believe that the answers to Paul's murder or the evidence that they require to progress this investigation lies within the community.
Ms O'Neill described what happened to Paul as a tragedy and an injustice. She said the Quinn family deserves justice and closure.
