ESB have issued a statement relating to power cuts in the Northern Sound region following Storm Amy.
The storm made landfall on Friday and resulted in numerous homes and businesses across Cavan and Monaghan being left without electricity.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound, ESB Networks said crews have restored power to the vast majority of customers across counties Cavan and Monaghan following Storm Amy, which caused substantial damage to the electricity network.

Crews are currently working to restore power to a very small number of customers who remain without power today.
Community hubs opened locally today for use of people still without electricity.
