The Ulster Final should remain in Clones despite the redevelopment of Casement Park.
That's the view of Cavan-Monaghan Fine Gael TD, David Maxwell. Earlier this week, the UK Government announced a £50 million allocation for the redevelopment of Antrim's ground. It's estimated the full cost of revitalising the ground will be in the region of €300 million, which will give Casement a capacity of over 30,000 people. Local TD David Maxwell believes St Tiernach's Park should not be forgotten about.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show earlier, he says Clones is the spiritual home of the Ulster Final, and should remain so.
