A status yellow rain warning has come into effect for Cavan and Monaghan this morning. Met Eireann's warning of a risk of localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions until early tomorrow morning.
The warning includes a total of 18 counties this morning. It includes all of Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford.
