Surveying and design works for the rollout of the National Broadband Plan will continue in Co Cavan from today.
In Cavan, the surveys will commence in Mullagh, Knockatemple, Maghera, and Ryefield.
National Broadband Ireland is advising the public that contractors will be on the ground in these areas, both inspecting and recording pictures of infrastructure such as poles, cables and underground ducts.

NBI adds that the teams have been fully trained in physical distancing practices, appropriate use of personal protective equipment, and how to engage with the public in a safe manner if and when required.
Entegro is the contracting company commencing this work and will have vehicles and signage with both Entegro and NBI logos.
