The Tánaiste and Minister for Finance is travelling to Brussels today for two days of meetings with EU Finance Ministers.
The Eurogroup and ECOFIN talks will focus on the economic impact of the conflict in the Middle East, and what countries are doing to deal with rising energy costs.
Simon Harris will also hold bilateral talks with Sweden on Ireland’s proposed new state-backed savings scheme.
Speaking ahead of those talks, the Tánaiste says he's examining the Swedish model to help make investing easier for ordinary savers.
