Thousands of turkeys have tested positive for bird flu in Co Monaghan.
The flock in Clontibret is the latest to be infected with avian influenza despite a national housing order in effect.
Restriction zones have been established around the affected holding, comprising of a 3km protection zone and a 10km surveillance zone in line with national and EU legislation.
The HSE says the risk to public health is still very low even as the numbers increase.
The public is asked not to handle sick or dead wild birds and to report them to the Department of Agriculture.
