The three people who were arrested over the serious assault of a man in Monaghan Town on Tuesday night have been charged.
The two men and a woman, who are all in their 20s, will appear at Cavan District Court this morning.
The victim, a man in his 40s, is still fighting for his life at Beaumont Hospital

The three charged were being questioned at various garda stations in Monaghan since their arrests the day after the alleged assault, Wednesday. .
