Gardai are investigating the theft of a Toyota Hilux 4x4 jeep from the Kingscourt area.
The vehicle was taken on Carrickleck Rd in the town yesterday between the time of 11.30am and 2.45pm yesterday afternoon.
The 4x4 was parked on the road opposite the church in Kingscourt. A cattle trailer was attached to the Toyota Hilux at the time of the theft but this trailer was unhitched and left behind.

Gardai are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed this theft or may have dash cam footage of the area from yesterday afternoon to contact them. Kingscourt Garda Station can be contacted on 042 9667292. Owner of the black Toyota Hilux, Emmet Rogers says he is still in shock over this brazen theft of the 1 year old 4X4.
