Gardai in Co Cavan have issued a fine and penalty points to a tractor driver in Kingscourt.
The tractor was stopped yesterday by members of the Cavan Roads Policing Unit over tinted windows that breached the legal requirement.
According to Gardai, all mechanically propelled vehicle's, including tractors must have 65% light through the front and driver side windows.
Despite this, the tractor in question had tints fitted only allowing 30% through.
Following the detection, tints were removed and a fixed charge penalty for the driver resulting in a fine and penalty points were handed over.
