A trailer which was stolen from Swanlinbar has been recovered across the border in Co Fermanagh.
Following a report of a stolen trailer in Swanlinbar on the 25th of January, Gardai were alerted last Saturday to a possible location for the property in Northern Ireland.
Gardai were able to identify a suspect and with the collaboration of the PSNI in Enniskillen, the trailer was recovered successfully.

The trailer was identified from the property markings stamped on it and Gardai in Co Cavan believe this incident is a positive example of the benefits of property marking events which are held regularly by Gardai across both Cavan and Monaghan.
Meanwhile, PSNI are continuing their investigations in respect to the handling of stolen property.
