Motorists in Ballinagh, Co. Cavan are urged to be careful on the Crossdoney Road just outside the village.
Gardaí have confirmed a tree is down on the road and is obstructing traffic.
The tree is currently in the process of being cleared, but drivers are reminded to exercise extra caution in the area this morning.
