Tributes are being paid to Cavan man and former Shannonside Northern Sound presenter.
Sean Byers passed away yesterday, peacefully at the Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent.
The Kilnaleck man is remembered as a presenter of Shade of Green on the station for over 20 years.

He is also remembered for his love and commitment to GAA, having achieved nine senior medals with Crosserlough.
Sean's friend Philip Clarke spoke on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, remembering the larger than life character.
Philip agreed that Sean's passion and priorities all revolved around family, music and football.
