Two people were arrested by Gardai investigating the supply of cocaine in east Cavan.
On Wednesday, members of the Cavan/Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit and the Bailieborough Detective Unit intercepted a car travelling northbound on the M3.
Cocaine valued at €17,500 was seized following a search of the car, and the two occupants, a man and a woman were arrested.

They were detained at Kells Garda Station and a file is now being prepared for the DPP.
