Two men have been charged following a drugs seizure in Co Cavan.
As part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs and related criminal activity in the region, Gardaí attached to the Cavan Drugs Unit and Bailieboro Detective Unit stopped a vehicle in Virginia on Wednesday.
The car was searched and 1kg of suspected cannabis herb, with an estimated street value of €20,000, was seized.

The two men (aged in their 50s and 20s) who were arrested in connection with this investigation have since been charged.
The two men are due to appear before Navan District Court this morning at 10:30am.
Investigations are ongoing.
