Two boys have been injured following a road traffic collision involving an e-scooter in Ballyconnell.
The incident occurred on the N87 near Black Ridge roundabout at approximately 7:15pm yesterday evening.
One of the boys was seriously injured and was airlifted to Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin. Northern Sound understands this boy is 12 years old.

The other boy, aged in his teens, was taken to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
Gardai have confirmed that the incident involved an e-scooter.
The road remains closed this morning and local diversions are in place.
