A Monaghan Senator believes the Ulster Final must stay in Clones no matter the permutations.

There is a possibility of this year's Ulster Final being held in Croke Park however no final decision has been made yet by the Ulster Council. A recent study conducted by the University of Ulster estimated that last year's Ulster Final generated €1.5 million in revenue for Clones. It also showed that it brought in €2.2 million into the wider of Co.Monaghan.

Local Senator Robbie Gallagher says it doesn't make sense for 2 Ulster teams along with supporters to travel to Croke Park to contest an Ulster Final.
