A local councillor has highlighted the "wide range" of business supports which are available through the local enterprise office in Co Monaghan.
Sinn Fein's Sinead Flynn has encouraged locals to avail of the various schemes which can help your businesses grow, become more efficient and create further jobs for local areas.
Cllr Flynn outlined a number of examples, including the energy efficiency grant which is for businesses who are looking to cut their costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
Cllr Flynn said; "This scheme can help cover upgrades like better insulation LED lighting or even a more efficient heating system. There's also the 'Lean for Business' scheme which gives businesses access to expert advice to help streamline their operations by reducing waste and improving their productivity, and it is a really great way to help processes work smarter. There's also the 'Grow Digital Voucher', and this is another key support. It provides funding to invest in digital technologies, for example, automation tools, cloud software, cyber security and data systems. This scheme, can help businesses to modernize so there are real, accessible supports available for local businesses."
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Flynn has encouraged anyone running a small business, or anyone thinking of starting a business, to reach out to the Local Enterprise Office in Monaghan or visit their website for further information:
