A Lidl shop in Cavan sold the winning EuroMillions ticket worth 17 million euro.
The quick pick was bought in the supermarket in Creighan on the Ballinagh Road on Friday, just hours before the draw.
The lucky winner hasn't come forward yet.
The National Lottery is now urging all EuroMillions players in Cavan to carefully check their tickets.
Ireland’s newest millionaire should sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing amount.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr has the following advice for Ireland’s newest millionaire: "Imagine realising that you have a ticket worth €17 million in your possession! That’s sure to be the reality of a EuroMillions player in Cavan who has now taken the title of the 19th Irish EuroMillions jackpot winner. As we have yet to hear from our latest jackpot winner, we are appealing to all of our EuroMillions players who may have purchased their tickets for the Friday 12th December draw at the Lidl store in Creighan on the Athlone Road to carefully check their tickets today as one person now has a ticket worth a massive €17 million."
