Yellow fog warning issued locally

A status yellow - fog warning will be in effect from 7pm this evening until 10am tomorrow morning.

Fairly widespread mist and fog expected, thickening and become dense in places, leading to hazardous travelling conditions across the region.

Areas of mist and fog will be "locally dense", especially across midland counties. Lowest temperatures of 0C to 4C degrees are predicted with a "touch of frost."
